Fall / Winter Newsletter 2023
Greetings to All,
I am writing to express my sincere gratitude for your heartfelt support of BRAVO/ Pregnancy Support Center. At our banquet
Diane Caliendo made mention of my goal for the center. I am happy to say we made it over halfway there. I am thrilled and so
grateful for such generous support.
But, I would be neglectful in my responsibilities if I didn’t let everyone know that we are falling short of our yearly fundraising
efforts. I am looking at our objectives to see what would further our main goal, which is preserving the lives of the unborn.
So, if it’s on your heart to give this holiday season and partner with us, please know that all of your efforts are appreciated and
we will continue our mission here at the Pregnancy Support Center. Because of your generosity and support, we have reached
over 500 families this year, sharing material aid and the Gospel. If you are interested in reading the story about one of our
clients I have added it in the enclosed letter.
Christmas Drive
As Christmas is fast approaching, it is our goal to help 15 families. Many of these individuals have become more than average
clients. If you would like to help by donating $ or new toys or to even help us sponsor a specific family, please contact us at your
earliest convenience.

Bravo Center Story
Jane has been a client since 2013 with her daughter Julie. At that time, she had lost her job and had to move
due to burst pipes, she's lost most of her belongings due to water damage and at the time she was going to
counseling for a late term still born baby.
We had given her information about a local church and shared with her about food and clothing pantries that
she needed help from.
We didn't see Jane again until December of 2021 when she came in seeking assistance with material aid for her
infant son Jason. She was very happy to speak with us, sharing how things had improved for her and her
children.
The following year in October of 2022, she was shot at by someone that she did not know and unfortunately,
they were never caught. She was not injured, and she had to move with her son to a safe house.
Recently Jane contacted us regarding her son Jason, He has been diagnosed with Congenital Amegakaryocytic
Thrombocytopenia (CAMT), which is a rare disorder characterized by severely low number of bone marrow
cells that make platelets which are very important for clotting and preventing bleeding.
On October 26th Jason had a feeding tube in port surgically inserted. There are very few bone marrow donors
that have his exact match. Someone has agreed to participate, and Jason starts chemo mid-November, and the
bone marrow transplant should be taking place by the end of the month.
This is one of the many stories that come through the Pregnancy Support Center. Most of them aren't as tragic
as Jane’s but relevant just the same.
Names have been changed for confidentiality purposes.
We need your help and support this holiday season and every season.
