Volunteer Opportunities 
 
The PSC is looking for volunteers interested in helping women who are facing unplanned or unwanted pregnancies. There are many ways you can help:

    • Volunteer Counseling
    • Post Abortion Outreach
    • Abstinence Education
    • Weekly Cleaning
    • Office Worker
    • Baby Boutique Worker
    • Computer Services
    • Fundraising Projects
*Volunteer applications are available at both centers.
 

 

Volunteer Counselor Training 
  
This training will equip you with the practical helping skills necessary to help a young woman facing a crisis pregnancy:

    • Fetal development information
    • The nature of a crisis and intervention
    • Counseling skills and role-play
    • Pregnancy test information
    • The legal aspects of abortion
    • Understanding of the sanctity of life
    • Physical, spiritual and psychological consequences of abortion

Are you a stay at home mom or a college age student who can spare to donate a few hours? No amount of time is too small. Evening hours are availble at the Saugerties Center.
